The EUIPO - European Union Intellectual Property Office has published its guidance on Metaverse and NFTs trade marks

EUIPO, in the light of the increasing number of trademark applications relating to virtual goods and NFTs, has provided some initial procedural guidance – available at this link – to help the proper filing of applications.
More comprehensive guidelines, currently under consultation, are expected in 2023.
