Andrea Rizzi & Partners advised Game Seer in the financing of Gamera Interactive’s game ‘Alaloth’
14 DECEMBER 2020
Andrea Rizzi & Partners advised German venture capital firm Game Seer Venture Partners in the financing of isometric souls-like RPG video game “Alaloth – Champions of The Four Kingdoms”, developed by Italian studio Gamera Interactive (http://www.gamerainteractive.it) with the support of Polish publisher All in! Games (https://www.allingames.com).
Game Seer Venture Partners, one of the leading venture capital funds investing exclusively in interactive entertainment companies and products (https://www.game-seer.com/), invested an undisclosed amount in the game and was granted a call option for a minority stake of Gamera Interactive as part of the deal. The parties have agreed to not to disclose the full operation terms due to commercial reasons, but these are in line with previous Game Seer investments.
“We are extremely happy to settle our partnership with Gamera Interactive to help them deliver Alaloth. Every deal usually starts with an idea and bringing an isometric soul-like RPG instantly caught our interest. We want players to get the best possible game, so joining forces to bring this innovative product to life was a logical choice” said Bertrand Vernizeau, CEO and Investment Partner at Game Seer Venture Partners.
“The investment from Game Seer combined with the resources available from our publisher, allow us to raise the bar for the production of the game, staying focused on our vision and keeping full creative freedom” said Alberto Belli, Founder & CEO at Gamera Interactive.
Andrea, Massimo, Emanuele and Nicoletta were part of the team from Andrea Rizzi & Partners that assisted Game Seer Venture Partners in the deal.
